SUNMULON SS PUSHBUTTONS:

The steps below are current as of November, 2024. Sunmulon is a Japanese industrial device manufacturer that created the Sunmulon SS Pushbutton that are used in many custom arcade fightsticks. However, these buttons were not designed specifically for fightsticks. Therefore, it is difficult to find ways to purchase the buttons on retail sites. This brief guide reflects the steps to place an order directly from the United States Distributor. STEPS TO ORDER SUNMULON BUTTONS DIRECTLY FROM DEVICE TEC:

1. EMAIL DEVICE TEC.
Email dflenniken@devicetec.net and/or info@devicetec.net with your inquiry for ordering Sunmulon buttons. The model we use for Arcade/Fightsticks is the Sunmulon SS Pushbutton Swtich (20mm and 25mm) 20mm is equivalent to our 24mm buttons and 25mm is equivalent to our 30mm buttons. Sunmulon labels the buttons by plunger measurement, not full width.

2. SUBMIT ORDER DETAILS
When Device Tec responds, you will get a PDF and order instructions for the current version of the SS Buttons. For Arcade/Fightstick use, you want to use the following options:

Part No. : SS-1SJ___(Button Color)-___(Button Shape)___(Mounter Color)

Example: 25mm Black rim with white cap is: SS-1SJW-MB

Code Guide:
- Product Type: SS 
- Mounting Type: 1 (Snap-In Front Mount)
- Contact Material: S (Silver)
- Button Mounter Shape: P or M (Type P is 20mm Round or Type M is 25mm Round) *Remember, 20mm is same as 24mm and 25mm is same as 30mm for fightstick buttons*
- Button Color: R, W, G, or B (Red, White, Green, or Black)
- Mounter Color: B or G (Black or Grey)

**Quantities for EACH color variation must be in a minimum order quantity of 10. This means if you only need 8 White and black 25mm buttons, you must order 10 White and black 25mm buttons. If you only want 6 of the 20mm buttons in White and Grey, you still have to order 10 of this specified color/size option. **

Pricing may vary based on numerous factors, but the last quoted price per button was between $12-13 USD. This does not include shipping costs or taxes!

3. PAY INVOICE
After they receive your order details, Device Tec will send you an invoice for payment. Payment form and invoice due dates will also vary based on Device Tec's current policies. Unless you are placing a very large bulk order, it is recommended that you prepay up front when placing the order.
